Forward Outdoor Brand

Arguably the most fun to showcase, the logo design was only a sliver of the work copywriter Easton Smiskey and I tackled for Forward Outdoor. We delved deep to define core values, shape a brand personality that resonates with their audience, and craft a practical guide for implementing their tone of voice and design system.

Evolution of the Logo

The logo shape is a combination of a forward arrow, a tree, and the letter “f.” Many iterations were created before this winning combination stood out.

Core Values

Understanding and defining Forward Outdoors' core values set the foundation for a brand personality and visual identity that resonate with customers.

Identity System

It was important to create design elements that support the personality traits established earlier in the branding process and to provide the Forward Outdoor team with practical ways to implement them.
